How NJ SpEd Compass works
We're building a better way for New Jersey parents to navigate the special education system.
Our Mission
Every child deserves a free appropriate public education (FAPE). But New Jersey's special education system is complex, and parents often feel overwhelmed, confused, and alone. NJ SpEd Compass exists to change that. We give parents clear, accurate information about their rights and practical tools to advocate for their children — so no family has to navigate the system alone.

Why New Jersey only?
Special education law is different in every state. New Jersey has its own administrative code (NJAC 6A:14), its own timelines, its own procedures, and its own case law. Generic national advice won't cut it. We focus exclusively on New Jersey so we can give you accurate, actionable guidance that works in your state.
